Able is in beta — what that means
What is live, what is still being built, what is missing, and what happens if it breaks.
01Why we say it out loud
Beta means the product is real and in use, and also that you will find things we have not finished. Both are true at once. We put it in the top bar rather than the footer because you should know before you build your week around it, not after.
02What is live and stable
Flows — the graph your work travels, with stages, triggers and actions. Forms, which a customer can answer on your public page without an account. Offerings and the profile people buy from. The agent, for customers and for your own team. These are used daily, they are covered by tests, and we would be surprised by a serious problem in them.
03What is still being built
Reporting is thin — the numbers are right, the ways to slice them are not all there yet. Notifications can be quiet about their own failures, so a message that did not send may not tell you loudly. Some error messages are still generic where they should name the actual problem. We keep a register of these and work through it; if you hit one, it is probably already on it, and telling us moves it up.
04What is not there yet
Search is the front page’s ask box — filtered search pages and a browsable directory are not built. Some integrations people ask for are not built either. Deeper reporting and exports beyond the basics are still to come. We do not put dates on these publicly, because a date we miss costs more than a feature you waited for.
05How many businesses are on it
We have not published a number yet, and we would rather say that than round one up. Ask us and we will tell you exactly where we are — the figure will appear here, with the date it was taken, once we are counting it properly.
06What happens if it breaks
Email support@able.kiwi and a person reads it — there is no ticket queue to get lost in. If something is stopping you working, say so in the subject line and it goes to the front. Your data is yours: you can export what you put in, whenever you want it, and nothing here holds it hostage. If you are on a paid plan and we cannot fix a problem that stops you using the product, we refund the unused part — you do not have to argue for it.
07What "out of beta" will mean
Three things, all of them measurable: the still-building list above is empty, failures are surfaced rather than swallowed, and we have run long enough without a serious incident to say so honestly. We have not committed to a date publicly, because we would rather move it once here than miss it twice somewhere else.
